Captured and displayed in her throne room by Freya, Maya learns more about the mysterious guardians that the Baroness has sent her after from the noble valkyrie. But with the undead hordes besieging the fortress, Freya reluctantly agrees to allow Maya to help her recover her runestone. Meanwhile, Valerie and Irina find themselves enslaved by the undead and sent to catacombs to work, knowing they may never make it out alive!

Dear Uroboros:

This issue was great! Your little resume explains the principal plot points, so I will comment about the beautiful illustrations:

Everything is fabulous! Maya being held as a trophy! Then bounded and keep her as a prisoner, and Ragna gloating to Maya! Great!

But the best part is showing that Freya is not a complete jerkass like the thre goddess that we knew earlier. It’s going to be difficult to Maya justify her future kidnapping.

And about Valerie and Irina, they were never in a situation as dire as this before: yes, they were captured and they menaced to kill them, but here the menace is not against her in particular, so their eventual deaths could be more probable.

Thanks; I always appreciate your feedback, Hector. I wanted to take Freya in a slightly different direction then the other goddess...she's not so corrupt and still has a sense of honor to her. If you look carefully, you'll also find that this world isn't the only one she's influencing...

I only can think two ways: Either Freya is one of the goddess from InnerUniverse, or she is the incarnation of Justice in DarkJustice (influencing Justice and Nemesis) ;)
