Unable to to overcome Kitsune's shape shifting magic; Maya is quickly overwhelmed by the ancient trickster and is taken captive along with her friends. Summoning her loyal ninja guard, Kitsune orders the trio to be imprisoned in her castle where she intents to interrogate them personally to find out how they managed to find her hidden forest. Later at Kitsune's castle, Maya finds herself stripped, bound and humiliated; but while Kitsune "entertains" her, one of her guards seems curiously doubtful of her mistress' intentions...

I won't spoil it for those who haven't read it, but that was a really cool surprise!

Apparently, the events in Legend Hunters are not contemporaneous with your other series.

A neat update, and beautiful as always!

This is late coming, but I agree. VERY pleasant surprise in this issue. It was already a great story, but now the complexity and layers between the stories has become vastly more interesting. Well done!

Well well well, a prequel???

First of all, is being a jerk a prerequisite for being a goddess? The baroness, Artemis, Kitsune… I really hope the two next goddess at least had the decency to play by their own rules: Kitsune put the rules and then cheerily breaks them herself.

But at least she is savvy enough to know that those intruders are more than meet the eye, so, like any jerk with power, orders a little torture to get to the truth.

No wonder Hasu is sick with this attitude… oh my! A prequel? Could this be… Red Lotus?? This tale is played in the past of LoSH?

I will stay tuned!
